It all starts with a strong database
RCR uses the Clinical Conductor clinical trial management system for managing the recruitment and progress of clinical trial volunteers through each trial. Now used at over 1,200 sites worldwide, the software was originally developed in collaboration with Rochester Clinical Research to meet our recruitment needs. Our CTMS database contains well over 35,000 patients and continues to grow.
After our staff, our database is our greatest asset. Consisting of over 35,000 patients, and counting we look to the database first whenever a partner approaches us about a new trial. Occasionally, we are able to fill a trial entirely from the database.
Our staff of in-house recruiters work full-time to keep our database up to date. In addition to our recruitment team, our marketing team sends targeted messaging to help constantly bring in new faces to RCR.

Attractive Regional Demographics
Rochester Clinical Research draws a majority of volunteers from Monroe County, which includes the City of Rochester and two dozen suburbs and villages. We also attract volunteers from the six surrounding counties — Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne and Wyoming.

Our recruitment is handled completely in-house from graphic design to recruitment phone screening. We are always trying new things and adopting the latest marketing techniques.
