Our Space

Rochester Clinical Research’s 24,000 square foot facility includes thirty-two examination rooms, eight dedicated monitor offices, two large conference rooms, an overnight facility for two subjects, and on-site, long-term storage for record archives.

Equipment

RCR has temperature controlled and monitored secure drug rooms, minus 70° freezers, minus 20° freezers, multiple dedicated vaccine refrigerators, a cold centrifuge, a regular centrifuge, a stadiometer, a spirometer, and EKG.

The temperatures of the refrigerator, the freezer and the drug rooms are monitored and recorded at all times. An automatic generator powered backup system provides emergency power for the freezers and refrigerator. Comprehensive medical imaging and endoscopy facilities are available nearby.

Emergency

On-site emergency equipment includes an AED, oxygen, airways, an Ambu Bag, IV fluids, epinephrine and IV Benadryl. Rochester General Hospital is only 1.2 miles from the RCR facility.

Technology

RCR uses the Clinical Conductor clinical trial management system for managing the recruitment and progress of clinical trial volunteers through each trial. Now used at over 1,200 sites worldwide, the software was originally developed in collaboration with Rochester Clinical Research to meet our recruitment needs. Our CTMS database contains well over 55,000 patients and continues to grow.
